(South Glengarry) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police, SD&G OPP Crime Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male suspect that was involved  a robbery that occurred on Saturday 27Oct12 in South Glengarry Township.

A warrant in the first instance is outstanding for 29yr old male (Jonathan LEROUX) of Russell Township. He is described as 5’9” tall and weighing approximately 160lbs and has numerous tattoos on his arms and torso. Police are urging anyone with any information on the location of the male to contact their local police department or call crime stoppers.

(North Dundas) – On 29Oct12, at approximately 7:00pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on Main St. Chesterville, On.

The investigation revealed that a male and his 33yr old girlfriend were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the female assaulting the male.

She was arrested and faces a charge of:

– Assault

She is scheduled to appear 20Nov12 in Cornwall court.
TRAFFIC STOP NETS DRUGS

(South Glengarry) – On 29Oct12, at approximately 3:00pm, SD&G OPP officers had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on County Road 18, South Glengarry Township.

The stop resulted in the seizure of approximately 20grams of suspected marihuana. The 31yr old male driver (Sebastien GIRARD of St-Francois De Sales, QC) and his two male passengers (Dave LAVOIE 23yrs of Alma, QC and William St-Pierre of Drummondville, QC) face charges of:

– Possession Schedule II Cannabis Marihuana

All three men are scheduled to appear 05Dec12 in Alexandria court.

POSSESSION ON STOLEN PROPERTY & ESCAPE LAWFUL CUSTODY

 

            Cornwall, ON- Oliver McTaggart, 28 was arrested on October 29th, 2012. It is alleged that on October 25th, 2012 he was stopped by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division while operating a stolen motor vehicle. He subsequently fled from police. He turned himself in to police and was charged with Possession of stolen property and escape lawful custody. He was released to appear in court on November 13th, 2012.

 

BREACHES

            Cornwall, ON- A 13-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on October 29th, 2012. The youth was bound by a probation order with the following conditions: keep the peace and be of good behaviour, abide by a curfew Sunday to Thursday from 8:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and attend school without truancy. The youth was also bound by an OIC Undertaking with the relevant conditions: keep the peace and be of good behaviour, abide by house rules, abide by a curfew and be in your place of residence from Sunday to Thursday between 830 pm and 630 am, Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 6 am and attend school without truancy.  It is alleged that on October 22, 2012 the youth failed to return home by curfew and failed to attend school. It is also alleged that the youth had failed to attend for fingerprints on October 25th, 2012. The youth was charged with 4 counts of Fail to Comply with Undertaking and 3 counts of Breach of Probation Order. The youth was held in custody until court the following day. The youth’s name was not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
