BREAK & ENTER, BREACHES

 

            Cornwall, ON- Calvin Ceasor, 24 of Cornwall was arrested on November 16th, 2012. He was bound by a Recognizance with the conditions to not associate or communicate directly or indirectly with a certain female and not to attend within 200 meters of her residence. He was also bound by a Probation Order with the conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.  It is alleged that on November 15th, 2012 he unlawfully entered a Meadowvale Crescent residence and removed property. He was located at the said person’s residence and charged with Break & Enter, Breach of Probation Order and 3 counts of Fail to comply with Recognizance. He was held in custody until court November 19th, 2012.

 

DOMESTIC ASSAULT WARRANT

 

            Cornwall, ON- An 18-year-old Cornwall male was arrested on November 16th, 2012 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on October 10th, 2012 October 12th, 2012, he got into an altercation with his 19-year-old ex-girlfriend when he assaulted her. Further investigation revealed that on October 11th, 2012 he got into an altercation with the female and assaulted her with a plastic tube object. It was also alleged that between June 1st, 2012 and September 1st, 2012 he got into an altercation with the female and assaulted her and burnt her with a cigarette. The victim suffered minor injuries. He was charged with 4 counts of Domestic Assault, 2 counts of Assault with a Weapon and Assault cause bodily harm. He was held in custody until court November 19th, 2012. His name was not released as it would identity the victim.

 

DRUGS

 

            Cornwall, ON- Jared Kuhn, 19 of Cornwall was arrested on November 16th, 2012. It is alleged that he was found by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division to be in the possession of a controlled substance believed to be marijuana. He was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and released to appear in court on December 18th, 2012.

BREACHES

            Cornwall, ON- A 15-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on November 17th, 2012. The youth was bound by a Probation Order with the condition to abide by a curfew as identified by youth worker. Time as follows: Sunday to Thursday 9:00 pm to 6:00 am, Friday and Saturday 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. It is alleged that on November 17th, 2012 shortly after 1:00 am the youth was located by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division to be away from his residence. He was released to an adult to appear in court on December 27th, 2012. The youth’s name was not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

 

Cornwall, ON- A 14-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on November 17th, 2012. The youth was bound by a Recognizance with the conditions to abide by the rules of her residence and not to be away from her residence between the hours of 8:00 pm and 6:00 am. It is alleged that on November 17th, 2012 shortly prior to 1:30 am she was found to be away from her residence. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was located and charged with 2 counts of Fail to comply with Recognizance. She was released to an adult to appear in court on December 12th, 2012. The Youth’s name was not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Cornwall, ON- A 15-year-old Spencerville youth was arrested on November 17th, 2012. The youth was bound by a Recognizance with the relevant conditions: to reside at a specific residence in Spencerville, Ontario, abide by the rules of that residence, and not to be away from the residence except with written permission. The youth was also bound by a second Recognizance with the relevant conditions: keep the peace and be of good behaviour, you will remain in your residence daily between the hours of 9 pm and 6 am, except for medical emergencies or when in the company of your CAS worker, foster parent or group home worker. The youth was also bound by an Undertaking with the relevant conditions:  curfew: remain at residence between 9 pm and 6 am unless with a parent or guardian. It is alleged that on November 3rd, 2012 the youth was reported missing and was breaching his conditions. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was located and charged with 4 counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance and Fail to Comply with Undertaking. He was held in custody until court November 19th, 2012. His name was not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Cornwall, ON- Mathieu Lecompte, 31 of Cornwall was arrested on November 18th, 2012. He was bound by an Undertaking with the conditions of keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on November 18th, 2012 he refused to leave an establishment and police were contacted. He was charged with Fail to comply with Undertaking and released to appear in court on December 18th, 2012.

THEFT & DRUGS

            Cornwall, ON- Meagan Lefebvre, 22 of Cornwall was arrested on November 17th, 2012. It is alleged that on November 17th, 2012 she attended a Ninth Street store and removed property without making any attempt to pay for the item. She was detained by the store’s Loss Prevention Officer and turned over to a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division. Further investigation revealed that she had in her possession a controlled substance believed to be cocaine. She was charged with Theft under $5000 and Possession of a Controlled Substance. She was released to appear in court on December 4th, 2012.

CAUSE DISTURBANCE, BREACH & DRUGS

            Cornwall, Daniel Roach, 33 of Cornwall was arrested November 17th, 2012. He was bound by an Undertaking with the conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on November 17th, 2012 he was located by members of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division and caused a disturbance. He was also found in the possession of a controlled substance believed to be hashish oil. He was charged with Cause a Disturbance, Possession of a controlled substance and Fail to Comply with Undertaking. He was released to appear in court on December 6th, 2012.

BREAK & ENTER

            Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service are currently investigating a Break & Enter that occurred on November 17th, 2012 at a Ninth Street residence. The suspect(s) gained entry and removed several necklaces, rings and other jewelry, a black Androis tabler with black case and an Acer laptop. ATTEMPTED MURDER & ARSON

            Cornwall, ON- A 20-year-old St. Regis, Quebec man was arrested on November 18th, 2012. It is alleged that on November 17th, 2012 shortly prior to 3:30 am, he attended his 17-year-old ex-girlfriend’s sister’s residence and started a fire. The 5 residents were able to exit the residence safely. Police and Fire were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Arson- Disregard for Human Life and Attempted Murder. He was held until court on November 19th, 2012. His name was not released as it would identify the victims.

(South Dundas) – On 16Nov12, at approximately 10:00pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a male breaching his earlier release conditions on Church Ave, South Dundas Township.

The investigation revealed that a 14yr old youth was not abiding by his earlier release conditions by not attending his residence and breaking his curfew.

He was arrested and faces charges of:

– Fail to Comply-Undertaking Before Officer in Charge
– Fail to Comply with Undertaking or Recognizance

He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.
BREAK AND ENTER

(North Dundas) – On 17Nov12, at approximately 5:30pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a break and enter on Lafortune Drive, North Dundas Township.

The investigation revealed that sometime during the day on 16Nov12, unknown suspects attended a residence and removed various items of jewellery.

The investigation is ongoing.

16Nov12 (7:30pm), SD&G OPP officer stops a Chevy on Highway 138, North Stormont….140km/h (posted 80km/h zone).
