Sunday July 14th 2013 is Autograph & Banner Night at Cornwall Motor Speedway!

cms auto nightAction resumes this Sunday at Cornwall Motor Speedway with Speedy Glass present a full racing program for all divisions along with a Demolition Derby at the end of the evening. Fans will be able to meet and greet their favourite drivers during intermission time as cars will be placed in the infield.

 

Stephane Lafrance leads the way in the Jiffy Auto Services Modified category, Lafrance is one of the 4 different winners this season at the speedway, he has a 16-point lead over Chris Raabe and Luke Whitteker is currently third. Mario Clair and Laurent Ladouceur, completes the top 5. A 30-lap feature event is on the schedule for Sunday as a great field of cars is expected.

 

Drivers from the Tracy Wheeler Storm Realty Sportsman division will take the track for a 20-lap event, rookie of the contender; Joey Ladouceur has a slight 2-point lead of Chris Herbison. A 12-lap feature race will also occur during the evening for drivers that occupy the bottom half of the point chart. A solid group of drivers will be on hand.

 

The Alexandria Home Hardware Pro-Stock category will run a 20-lap feature race with returning to competition frontrunner Dave Bissonnette leading the way in front of Roch Aubin and Jocelyn Roy. Bissonnette and Aubin visited the winner circle so far along with the other winner Bruno Cyr.

 

After a night off, the Evans Bus Lines Semi-Pro and Baxtrom YIG Mini-Stock divisions will also be on hand for their respective 15 and 12 laps feature races.

 

After a few tries, the photo and autograph night will occur during intermission time, fans will be invited to the infield and they will be able to meet their favourite drivers.

 

To close the evening, an entertaining Demolition Derby will pay $500 to the winner.

 

Pit Gates will open at 4:30pm with general admission opening at 5:30pm. The first heat is scheduled for 7pm. General Admission will costs 12$ with children 18 years and under only 2$, seniors 65 and over will be 7$ and Pit Admission will be $23.
