            Cornwall, ON – Emily Pollock, 34 of Cornwall was arrested on the 11th of October, 2013 and charged with breaching her Probation Order and Recognizance for having called police for a non emergency matter and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on the 11th of October, 2013 the woman contacted police to gain entry into her residence as she had forgotten her keys and could not wake her roommate. Police attended and found the call was not an emergency and the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

 

Cornwall, ON – Calvin Hope, 46 of Cornwall was arrested on the 12th of October, 2013 and charged with breaching his recognizance for being out past curfew, having consumed alcohol and for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that in the early morning hours of the 12th of October, 2013 the man was found by police to be in an intoxicated state while sitting at curb of Pitt Street. The man was later taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

 

WARRANT

 

            Cornwall, ON – Andrew Conway, 26 of Cornwall was arrested on the 11th of October, 2013 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged that on the 8th of October, 2013 the man failed to attend court as directed and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On the 11th of October, 2013 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody and held for a bail hearing.

 

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, MISCHIEF UNDER $5000

 

            Cornwall, ON – A 28-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on the 11th of October, 2013 and charged with Assault on his 29-year-old ex-girlfriend. It is alleged that on the 11th of October, 2013 police were called to an Alice Street address in relation to a domestic disturbance. During their investigation it was learned that during an argument on the 10th of October, 2013 the man punched his ex-girlfriend in the head. Police later located the man in the area, took him into custody, charged him accordingly and held him for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it might identify the victim in the matter.

 

Cornwall, ON – A 39-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on the 14th of October, 2013 and charged with Assault and Mischief Under $5000. It is alleged that on the 14th of October, 2013 while at his ex-girlfriend`s residence and involved in a verbal argument the man struck his ex-girlfriend on the nose, the man then threw her cellular phone causing it to be damaged. Police attended the residence and an investigation ensued. During their investigation the man was located at his residence, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was then transported to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it might identify the victim in the matter.

 

Cornwall, ON – A 44-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on the 12th of October, 2013 and charged with Mischief Under $5000. It is alleged that in the early morning hours of the 12th of October, 2013 during a verbal argument with his 51-year-old wife the man damaged her cellular phone and the house phone when she contacted police. Police attended the residence and an investigation ensued. During their investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and later released with a future court date. His name was not released as it might identify the victim in the matter.

 

IMPAIRED OPERATION

 

            Cornwall, ON – John Chisholm, 38 of Lancaster was arrested on the 13th of October, 2013 and charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle. It is alleged that in the early morning hours of the 13th of October, 2013 the man was found to be operating a motor vehicle in the area of Sydney Street and Forth Street while under the influence of alcohol. The man was taken into custody during a traffic stop and charged accordingly. He was later released with a future court date.

(South Glengarry) – On 13Oct13, at approximately 02:30am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Sutherland Ave, South Glengarry Township.

The investigation revealed that a 25yr old male (Mitchell Gary DOE of Cornwall, On) was found to be in care or control of a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

He was arrested and faces charges of:

– Care or Control While Impaired
– Care or Control Over 80mgs

He is scheduled to appear 24Oct13 in Cornwall court.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT

(South Glengarry) – On 12Oct13, at approximately 01:30am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on Clifford Ave, South Glengarry Township.

The investigation revealed that a male and his 45yr old girlfriend were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the female assaulting the male.

She was arrested and faces a charge of:

– Assault

She is scheduled to appear 19Nov13 in Cornwall court.
(North Stormont) – On 11Oct13, at approximately 09:15am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on Church St. North Stormont Township.

The investigation revealed that a female and her 48yr old ex-husband were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the male assaulting the female.

He was arrested and faces a charge of:

– Assault

He is scheduled to appear 19Nov13 in Cornwall court.
(South Dundas) – On 14Oct13, at approximately 10:30pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on County Road 2, South Dundas Township.

The investigation revealed that a female and her 67yr old husband were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the male assaulting the female.

The male was arrested and faces charges of:

– Assault
– Sexual Assault
– Fail to Comply with Undertaking
– Driving While Ability Impaired
– Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood

He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.
BREACHED CONDITIONS

(North Glengarry) – On 12Oct13, at approximately 02:00am, SD&G OPP officers had occasion to check a pedestrian on Main St. Maxville, On.

The check revealed that the 24yr old male (from North Glengarry) was breaching his earlier release conditions. He was arrested and faces a charge of:

– Fail to Comply with Undertaking

He is scheduled to appear 13Nov13 in Alexandria court.
