SD&G County Library Announces Morrisburg Branch Move

The Morrisburg branch of the SD&G County Library is moving! The current Morrisburg branch under the Arena will close from May 5-10, with the branch opening in its new location in the South Dundas Municipal Centre on May 12.
“We’re excited to be moving into our new space, and are grateful to the Municipality of South Dundas for the investment that they are making in libraries,” said Erika Heesen, Communications and Marketing Librarian. “We look forward to continuing to work with the Municipality to provide excellent library service, and we’ll be holding a grand opening in conjunction with the Municipality at a later date”.
The new Morrisburg branch of the SD&G County Library will be a showcase branch, meeting all accessibility standards and providing a community-focused space, with resources for everyone. The Library plans to offer new programs in this location, including more one-on-one computer/technology training, helping kids after school with their homework and with database workshops and programs for seniors, such as book talks and movie matinees.
