            Cornwall, ON – Tyler Durocher-Quinn, 22 of Cornwall was arrested on April 23rd, 2014 and charged with breaching his recognizance for failing to notify change of address. It is alleged that on August 6th, 2013 police attended the man’s residence to confirm that he was abiding by his conditions and found that he had moved without notifying the Cornwall Community Police Service. On April 23rd, 2014 police located the man at a Montreal Road address and took him into custody. He was charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on May 29th, 2014.

THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH

            Cornwall, ON – Brian Colborne, 21 of Cornwall was arrested on April 23rd, 2014 and charged with theft under $5000, breach of a recognizance for not living at a specified address and failing to keep the peace. He was also charged with breaching a probation order for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on April 12th, 2014 the man attended a Belmont Street address and removed medication that did not belong to him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On April 23rd, 2014 the man approached a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service in order to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on May 29th, 2014.

DRUG WARRANT

            Cornwall, ON – Chad St-Louis, 27 and Jessica Neville, 19 both of Cornwall were arrested on April 23rd, 2014 and charged with:

·         Possession of Cocaine

·         Possession of methamphetamine

·         Possession of hydromorphone

·         Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine

·         Possession of property obtained by crime

It is alleged that on April 23rd, 2014 members of the Cornwall Street Crime Unit executed a drug warrant at a Montreal Road apartment and located approximately 16 grams of cocaine, 1 hydromorphone pill, 3 methamphetamine pills for an estimated street value of $1700.00. Also seized was approximate $500.00 in currency. Neville was released to appear in court on May 29th, 2014 while St-Louis was held for a bail hearing.

 

THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH, POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES AND A PROHIBITED WEAPON

 

            Cornwall, ON – Taylor Bergeron, 23 of Cornwall was arrested on April 23rd, 2014 and charged with theft under $5000, possession of controlled substances, possession of a prohibited weapon and breach of a recognizance for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on April 23rd, 2014 the man entered a Brookdale Avenue store and removed some razors and steaks making no attempts to pay for the items. The man was stopped by the Loss Prevention Officer and police were contacted. The man was taken into custody by police and while in custody the man was found to be in the possession of brass knuckles, approximately 13 grams of Marihuana and unknown pills. He was charged accordingly and held foe a bail hearing.

BREACH, ASSAULT, MISCHIEF, THREATS

 

Cornwall, ON – A 29-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 22nd, 2014 and charged with assault, threats, mischief and breach of probation for being in the company of someone he has conditions not to and for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on April 19th, 2014 during an argument with his 31-year-old girlfriend the man pushed and slapped her. He also broke her cell phone and threatened to have her jumped. Police were called and an investigation ensued. On April 22nd, 2014 the man who had left the scene prior to police arrival attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it might identify the victim in the matter.

 

ASSAULT

 

Cornwall, ON – A 19-year-old Montreal man was arrested on April 22nd, 2014 and charged with assault. It is alleged that on April 22nd, 2014 the man was involved in a verbal argument with a 22-year-old woman from Montreal while at a local hotel when he struck her in the face. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During their investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it might identify the victim in the matter.

(South Dundas) – On 23Apr14, at approximately 11:00am, SD&G OPP officers had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on Highway 401, South Dundas Township.

The stop revealed that the 57yr old male driver (John William DINSDALE of Lachine, QC) was operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

He was arrested and faces charges of:

– Driving While Ability Impaired
– Driving with more than 80mgs. of Alcohol in Blood

He is scheduled to appear 03Jun14 in Morrisburg court.
