Mother Nature Allows Kashechewan Residents to Remain Home – May 9, 2014

nav can ACORNWALL Ontario – A last minute change of plans delayed over 600 residents of Kashechewan from having to fly into Cornwall Ontario.

The NAV CAN staff were in full gear preparation according to sources.

– signage was being created to direct  evacuees as to where and where not to go at the NavCanada premises.

– current student residents at NavCanada were being moved to other sections of the residence to create a single exclusive accommodation area for evacuees.

– NavCanada staff were briefed that arrival of evacuees was  scheduled for between 6 and 7 pm.

The State of emergency was rescinded after the Albany River water level dropped by over one foot.

We will update as more information becomes available.

  1. Mother Nature – Mother Earth, the goddess Gaia = all forms of wicked, pagan idolatry. Exo 20:3 “Thou shalt have no other gods before me”. God’s wrath and sore displeasure falls down from heaven on such idolatry – misery, suffering, and death are just some of the consequences for worshiping false gods. Turn or burn!

  2. Jamie, you better change that headline pronto, lest ye be tossed into that fiery lake to burn for eternity!
    Too funny!

  3. Kind of glad it worked out this way… They did a lot of damage to the rooms at Nav Can last year and many locals would not even use the pool during the time they were here..You would think they would be grateful to stay at a nice facility like Nav Can

  4. Instead of shipping in needs to compound the issues in Cornwall, why not open up Nav Can to the poor and needy, and homeless ones during winter time? I saw that the new Wesleyan location had a sign up last winter for emergency shelter for those that had need. Way to go!

Pro 19:17 “He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again”.
Pro 29:7 “The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it”.

  5. Nice suggestion Mr. Newton. One question……who pays for this?

  6. who pays for this? Who pays for the Kashechewan Residents? Fed government? Ontario? or all of as a socialist society?

  7. Author

PTM, it’s all out of the same pair of pants. It really doesn’t matter which pocket it comes from, no?

  8. Yes, admin, that was my point. But do we help the needy only if someone else is paying for it. I am sure glad God doesn’t do that way.

  9. By all means, emergency services such as this should be provided by religious organizations and cults.
Is that more in line with your commenting policy, Jamie?

  10. Agreed. But opening up Nav Can services in the winter adds additional expenses to the taxpayers.

  11. Actually, Mr. Newton, doesn’t your loving god provide a well heated place where people can stay forever? Sounds like a good deal to me.
