Cornwall Ontario Police Blotter – Another Stabbing – May 15, 2014 CPS OPP

            Cornwall, ON – Gerald Boudrias, 38 of Cornwall was arrested on May 14th, 2014 and charged with breaching his recognizance for having consumed alcohol and also charged with possession of a controlled substance. It is alleged that on May 14th, 2014 while at police headquarters police found the man to be under the influence of alcohol despite being on conditions not to consume. He was taken into custody and during this time was found to be in possession of a small quantity of what is believed to be marihuana. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, CONCEALED WEAPON, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON

 

            Cornwall, ON – Mickey Coveyduck, 24 of Cornwall was arrested on May 14th, 2014 and charged with:

·         Aggravated assault

·         Assault with a weapon

·         Carry a concealed weapon

·         Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

·         Breach of probation for failing to keep the peace

It is alleged on May 14th, 2014 during an argument on Arthur Street the man stabbed a 29-year-old man in the abdomen. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During their investigation the man was taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

            Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on May 14th, 2014 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on April 15th, 2014 for a domestic related charge and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On May 14th, 2014 a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service located the man at his residence and took him into custody. He was transported to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it might identify the victim in the domestic matter.

(SD&G) – As a result of an ongoing theft investigation SD&G OPP Street Crimes Unit arrested two youths on County Road 18, South Dundas Township.

Two 17yr old males (from Cornwall, On) were arrested and face charges of:

– Theft Under $5,000 from a Motor Vehicle
– Failure to Comply with disposition
– Poss. of a Schedule II substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
– Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
– Possession of a Schedule II substance – Cannabis Marihuana

Both males are scheduled to appear 05Jun14 in Cornwall Youth court.

  1. My name is Micky Coveyduck and all the charges that were laid I was ( AQUITTED ) of all the charges including breach of probation . And that’s after I spent 399 days in custody fighting for my freedom.
