OPP Confirm Foul Play Cause of Human Remains Found near Winchester – June 13, 2014

Found Human Remains Identified

(WINCHESTER, ON) – On April 17, 2014 at approximately 8:20pm, officers of the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry (SDG) detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of found remains on Steen Road near Thompson Road, near Winchester, ON.

The results of the post mortem examination that was conducted at the Office of the Chief Coroner on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 determined that the cause of death was the result of foul play.

With the use of DNA testing, Police are now able to confirm the identity of the found human remains to be that of Raymond Arnold Collison of Chesterville. Collison was reported missing to Police in September 2009.
