OPP Officers Luanne MacDonald & John Bernard Charged for BREACH OF TRUST in Alexandria Ontario – July 22, 2014

OPPOPP CHARGE TWO OFFICERS WITH CRIMINAL OFFENCES     

(ALEXANDRIA, ON) – On July 22, 2014, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested and charged two (2) OPP officers in relation to offences that occurred between 2009 and 2014.

During the summer of 2012, information was provided to investigators that an OPP officer was disclosing private information.

As a result of the extensive investigation, under the direction of OPP Detective Inspector Paul Yelle, Criminal Investigation Branch and the OPP Professional Standards Bureau, OPP have charged 44-year-old Provincial Constable Luanne MacDONALD, of the Alexandria satellite office of the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Detachment with the following offences:

  • Breach of Trust by Public Officer (3 counts)
  • Obstruct Justice
  • Voyeurism
  • Distribution of Voyeurism Material
  • Theft of Telecommunications Service and
  • Fraud

She was released on a Promise to Appear and Officer-In-Charge Undertaking to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Alexandria onSeptember 3, 2014.  The accused is an 8-year member of the OPP and has been suspended with pay as per the Police Services Act of Ontario.

Also charged in relation to this investigation is 41-year-old Provincial Constable John BERNARD of the Alexandria satellite office of the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Detachment.  He has been charged with:

  • Breach of Trust by Public Officer (2 counts)

He was released on a Promise to Appear and Officer-In-Charge Undertaking to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Alexandria onSeptember 3, 2014. The accused is a 14-year member of the OPP has been suspended with pay as per the Police Services Act of Ontario.

All the {MODERATED} THEY tell to just to get A conviction on poor “not guilty” victims for their months total’s in the Brockville “kangaroo” court !(Ontario Superior Court of Justice)All the shady deals that go on in that court with the corrupt lawyers and Crown Attorney’s
