CFN Municipal Candidate Reviews For Cornwall & South Stormont MEGILL & PENDERGRAST

ballotCFN is reviewing and rating local candidates this election instead of endorsing.

Our next candidates for review are for Heather Megill & Mark Pendergast.

Ms Megill is a gifted speaker.  She did quite well at all of the candidate events she spoke at, as few as those were.

She however is another school teacher turned politician and for some reason in this area that never turns out very well.    She also went along with the Labour Council mess without speaking up.

She went from being a candidate I personally was close to voting for to just being another Elaine MacDonald replacement which is sad as I really enjoyed interviewing and speaking with her.

Ratings are for Perceived Honesty & Integrity, Vision and Action, Accessibility & Accountability, Leadership & Strength, and Win#

All are on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best.

Mark Pendergrast seems like an interesting man and someone I’d love to interview. His business achievement in South Stormont are something the community should be proud of.  Why he has rabies I have no idea.  Obviously this appears to be another case of small town feudalism where  CFN must have at some point offended someone he likes?    His speech at the Lion’s club while informative seemed to be about kvelling about his accomplishments instead of what he wanted to do for the community.
