CFN Municipal Candidate Reviews For Cornwall & South Stormont SABOURIN WALDROFF

ballotCFN is reviewing and rating local candidates this election instead of endorsing.

Our next candidates for review are for Denis Sabourin & Rick Waldroff

I don’t know what to make of Mr. Sabourin who also was a pundit on Seaway Radio along with the late Joe Gunn on our Political Round Table show.

Mr. Sabourin is no dummy.  He’s bright; articulate and knows politics.   My only concern is if his candidacy is simply to replace Syd Gardiner and offer the support to Mayor Kilger that he did while working for Bob when our mayor was MP?

Denis is a great speaker and performed well at the debates.

Councilor Waldroff was feisty during the campaign speaking up to some of porkies spread by Richard Currier and Tammy Hart.  It was bewildering to watch the current council’s performance in South Stormont be attacked in the manner it was when the township is pretty much booming and keeping taxes in check.
