Sometime after 8:30 p.m. on the night of Friday, November 21, and prior to 6:00 a.m. in the morning of Saturday, November 22 a suspect or suspects threw beer and alcohol bottles at the Centre, located at 1477 Sydenham Road, breaking two windows and a glass partition to one of the doors in the process.
Additionally, religious symbols were drawn in the snow close to broken bottles, footprints and nearby tire tracks made at the scene. Kingston Police attended the Centre Saturday morning, spoke to the administration of the Islamic Society of Kingston, seized potential evidence for analysis and took photographs. Beer bottles found on scene were of the brands Coors Light, Molson Canadian, and Bud Light. The vodka bottle was a Smirnoff brand.
