New River Kings Owner Confirms He Has No Interest in Running For Council! 1 on 1 INTERVIEW with Steve Moreau

clouts nov 3 2013CORNWALL Ontario – It was a great day for Cornwall River Kings fans as it was officially announced that Mr. Steve Moreau and his family have purchased the team from the LNAH and that fans will get to enjoy the rest of the season.

CFN went One on One with the new team owner earlier this afternoon.

Mr. Moreau takes over from City Councilor and hot mess Robert Brock Frost who is embattled withBrock Frost Council DEC 8 2014 his alleged real estate fraud and other lawsuits and complaints.

Mr. Frost left the team in disgrace with many fans feeling that he used the purchase of the team to fuel his run for City Council.

Mr. Frost was unavailable for response as of press time.  Darren Madden is still missing too!

Apparently Jimmy Buffet did find his lost shaker of salt though.

Mr. Moreau chatted after the interview about the challenges facing the team for the rest of the season and finding key marketing people to help as well as improve the entire fan experience.

Mr. Moreau’s first announcement is that season ticket holders are safe and that they should bring a friend to the games!

Mr. Moreau’s main biz, a family enterprise, is E-Steam Canada which focuses on E – Cigs.     There was no confirmation of an e cig for all the kiddies that show up to games.  ( I jest!)

The Winchester based firm will be focused on the business approach to the game.  Mr. Moreau appeared fearless when asked about the past failure of previous owners.

Kudos for him to leaping into the breach and saving the season for our amazing River King fans!

He also confirmed that he had ZERO interest in running for council or elected office in Cornwall!
