THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH

 

Cornwall, ON – Brandon Tessier, 28 of Cornwall was arrested on May 21st, 2015 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on May 21st, 2015 the man attended a Second Street East store and removed a quantity of cheese making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. Police were contacted and located the man a short distance away. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 16th, 2015.

BREAK AND ENTER

 

Cornwall, On – Jacob Bisson-McDonald, 18 of Cornwall was arrested on May 20th, 2015 and charged with break and enter. It is alleged that on May 15th, 2015 the man entered a First Street East residence and removed a laptop that did not belong to him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On May 20th, 2015 during their investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 9th, 2015.

 

THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH

 

Cornwall, ON – Matthew Walker, 22of Cornwall was arrested on May 20th, 2015 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on May 20th, 2015 the man entered a Second Street East store and removed items making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. He was stopped by the Loss Prevention Officer and police were contacted. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 25th, 2015.

 

POSSESSION, POSSESSION FOR THE PURPOSE, PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME

 

Cornwall, ON – Alcide Ceasor, 52 of Cornwall was arrested on May 20th, 2015 and charged with possession of Fentanyl, possession of Fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking and property obtained by crime (Canadian currency). It is alleged that on May 20th, 2015 the man was found to be in the possession of a quantity of Fentanyl and cash during a traffic stop. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

 

WARRANT

 

Cornwall, ON – A 21-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on May 20th, 2015 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged that on April 21st, 2015 the man slapped and choked his 23-year-old girlfriend. He also struck her with a broom and threatened to harm her. Police were contacted and investigation ensued. During their investigation a warrant for his arrest was obtained as the man’s whereabouts were unknown. On May 20th, 2015 the man was located at a Water Street East residence, taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it might identify the victim in the matter.

ESCAPE LAWFUL CUSTODY, THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH

 

Cornwall, ON – Jeffrey Lablanc, 25 of Cornwall was arrested on May 19th, 2015 and charged with theft under $5000, escape lawful custody and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on May 14th, 2015 the man attended a Second Street East store and removed meat making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. He was approached by the Loss Prevention Officer who contacted police as the man fled the scene. The man was spotted a short distance away and taken into custody after a brief foot chase, however broke free from the officer and fled the scene. On May 19th, 2015 the man was located at his residence, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

 

BREACH

 

Cornwall, ON – A 49-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on May 19th, 2015 and charged with breaching her recognizance for communicating with her ex- boyfriend despite being on conditions to not communicate with him. It is alleged that the woman communicated with her ex-boyfriend by way of text messages and police were contacted to investigate. On May 19th, 2015 the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

 

WARRANT

 

Cornwall, ON – Tammy Moore of no fixed address was arrested on May 19th, 2015 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged that on July 16th, 2013 the woman failed to attend court for a theft under charge and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On May 19th, 2015 a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service attended Ottawa Police Service as they had they woman in custody on the strength of Cornwall’s warrant. The woman was transported to Cornwall and held for a bail hearing.
