Sandy Holder Cobb Charged After IAN FROST FATAL Collision by OPP JULY 20, 2015 #OPP

DRIVER CHARGED IN FATAL COLLISION (update)

(North Dundas) – Following an ongoing investigation into a fatal motor vehicle collision, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged the driver of a vehicle involved.

On July 18, 2015 at approximately 5:03pm, officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of County Road 43 and County Road 7, North Dundas Township.
A motorcycle, driven by Ian FROST (69) of Ottawa, Ontario (previously reported as Manotick Stn) was westbound on County Road 43 when a northbound Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) entered County Road 43 from County Road 7 and collided with the motorcycle. FROST was taken to hospital and pronounced deceased. The driver of the SUV, Sandy HOLDER-COBB (45) of Brooklyn, New York and two (2) young passengers were not injured.

HOLDER-COBB is charged with;

– Fail to Yield to Traffic on Through Highway (Highway Traffic Act)

She is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on October 27, 2015.

SD&G OPP, assisted by OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) continue the investigation.
