BREACH

 

Cornwall, ON – A 22-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on August 14th, 2015 and charged with breach of undertaking for being in the company of someone he has conditions not to associate with and for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on August 14th, 2015 police spotted the man in the company of someone he has conditions not to associate with in the area of Fourth Street and Bedford Street. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as his conditions stem from a domestic incident and might identify the victim.

 

THREATS, HARASSMENT, BREACH

 

Cornwall, ON – A 35-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on August 14th, 2015 and charged with threats, criminal harassment and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the woman repeatedly communicated with her 28-year-old ex-boyfriend by way of phone calls and later threatened to burn his house. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.  

 

IMPAIRED OPERATION, OVER 80

 

Cornwall, ON – Angus Cook, 24 of Hogansburg was arrested on August 15th, 2015 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged in the early morning hours of August 15th, 2015 the man was found to be operation a motor vehicle in the area of Montreal Road and Albert Street while under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 25th, 2015.

 

ASSAULT

 

Cornwall, ON – A 35-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on August 15th, 2015 and charged with assault. It is alleged during an argument on August 15th, 2015 with his 30-year-old girlfriend the man grabbed her by the neck and police were contacted to investigate. During their investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

 

MISCHIEF

 

Cornwall, ON – Larry Seguin, 43 of Cornwall was arrested on August 15th, 2015 and charged with mischief. It is alleged during an argument on August 15th, 2015 the man dented a car driven by a 38-year-old man known to him with an object and police were contacted to investigate. During their investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 22nd, 2015.

 

ROBBERY, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE, BREACH

 

Cornwall, ON – Raven Thompson – MacDonald, 18 and Adam Lacoste-Marshall, 23 both of Cornwall were arrested and charged with robbery, while Lacoste-Marshall was also charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and breach of probation and recognizance for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on July 12th, 2015 they took a Tablet from a 22-year-old man known to them and Lacoste-Marshall brandished a knife. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 20th, 2015 Thompson-MacDonald attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 11th, 2015. On August 16th, 2015 Lacoste-Marshall was located by police at a Brookdale Avenue restaurant, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
