Power is out for part of Cornwall Ontario with no answer as to how long until the holiday hydro will be flowing.   Cornwall has been hit with high winds due to the unusually warm temperature today due to a Western High front that has hit our region.

We will update as soon as more information becomes available.

  1. My daughter and I went out to get a few groceries and the wind is murder. It is a west wind and we had a tremendously hard time to walk here in Ottawa. I remember back in 1998 with the power outage in cornwall and it was horrible. One thing that was good about the power outage – NO TV YIPPEE! That saved a few brain cells that time.
