Assault by Jar in Cornwall Ontario POLICE BLOTTER #ccps March 3, 2016

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Daniel Ouellette, 61 of Cornwall was arrested on March 2nd, 2016 and charged with breach of recognizance for failing to report as directed. It is alleged the man failed to report on February 29th, 2016 as directed and police were contacted to investigate. During their investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 31-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on March 2nd, 2016 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged during an argument on February 17th, 2016 the woman struck her 61-year-old boyfriend with a jar, punched him and threatened to damage his van. Police were contacted and a warrant was obtained for her arrest. On March 2nd, 2016 the woman was spotted by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service in the area of the 200 block of Pitt Street. She was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

ASSAULT, MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – A 31-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 2nd, 2016 and charged with three counts of assault and two counts of mischief. It is alleged during arguments between November, 2015 and March 2nd, 2016 the man pushed and slapped his 30-year-old common-law wife and police were contacted to investigate. During their investigation the man was taken into custody after having damaged a coffee table and a door. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 2nd, 2016 and charged with assault, it is alleged during an argument on February 21st, 2016 the man pushed his 23-year-old girlfriend and police were contacted to investigate. During their investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
