SD&G Charge 16 Yr Old for Marijuana in Ingleside MARCH 23, 2016

DRUGS SEIZED

(South Stormont) – On March 22, 2016 at approximately 2:19pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers intercepted a male youth at a property in the Village of Ingleside, South Stormont Township. A quantity of suspected marihuana and drug paraphernalia were seized.

The 16-year-old male was arrested and is charged with;

– Possession of a Controlled Substance – Under 30 Grams

He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on May 12, 2016. His name is not being released as per provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
THEFT OF TRACTOR

(North Dundas) – On March 22, 2016 – SD&G OPP began an investigation into a report of a theft of a tractor from a commercial property located on County Road 31, North Dundas Township (Winchester). Investigation indicated that over the past two (2) weeks, a red 2016 Massey-Ferguson sub-compact tractor, four wheel drive with backhoe and front end loader units was stolen.

An investigation continues.
