BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on April 6th, 2016 and charged with breach of recognizance for associating with her ex-boyfriend, consuming alcohol and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on April 1st, 2016 the woman was spotted consuming alcohol with her ex-boyfriend and an investigation ensued. On April 6th, 2016 the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as the conditions stem from a domestic incident and would identify the victim.

THEFT UNDER, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Brittany Lague, 19 of St-Rose was arrested on April 6th, 2016 and charged with two counts of theft under $5000 and two counts of breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the woman was responsible for a theft of merchandise that occurred on March 19th, 2016 at a Cumberland Street store and on April 6th, 2016 she was spotted by police at another store. She was taken into custody for the incident on March 19th, 2016 and once at police headquarters she was found to have concealed a watch from the store she was spotted in. She was charged accordingly for both matters and held for a bail hearing.

IMPAIRED, REFUSAL

Cornwall, ON – Jamie Bridson, 37 of Cornwall was arrested on April 6th, 2016 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and refusal. It is alleged on April 6th, 2016 the man was operating a motor vehicle in the area of Eleventh Street and Sydney Street while under the influence of alcohol when he was involved in a collision with another vehicle. Police were contacted and located the vehicle in a ditch in the area of Brock Street. The man was taken into custody and refused to provide a sample of his breath to police. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date.
