South Dundas Deceased ATV Driver Identified BRADLEY TINKLER SD&G #OPP April 7, 2016

FATAL MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION – DRIVER IDENTIFIED (update)

(North Dundas) – On April 6, 2016 at approximately 5:41pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision on County Road 16, North Dundas Township (just south of County Road 3).

Investigation indicated that an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV), driven by Bradley TINKLER (42) of South Dundas Township was southbound when, for reasons under investigation, he collided head-on with a northbound tractor-trailer unit, driven by a 39-year-old male from Ottawa. TINKLER was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the truck was not injured.

SD&G OPP officers, assisted by OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) continue the investigation. Alcohol and speed are being considered as factors…charges are not expected.

A section of County Road 16 between County Road 3 and Sandy Row Road was closed to traffic and re-opened at approximately 1:30am.
