TWO VEHICLE COLLISION Brings Out Emergency Crews in Cornwall Ontario JULY 7, 2016

A two vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of York and Fourth Streets at about 10:40 am today (7 Jul 16).

Witnesses say that an eastbound Buick SUV collided with a northbound Saturn wagon, the northbound vehicle being “t-boned” in the collision.

Acc 1 july 7 16While occupants of the Buick were being attended to by police and ambulance personnel, firefighters assisted an occupant of the heavily damaged Saturn extricate himself from a difficult tangle of safety belts and deployed airbags.

Acc 2 july 7 16Although one person was fitted with a neck brace by emergency personnel, and serious injuries were not apparent, the occupants of both vehicles were clearly very shaken.
