Breaching in Cornwall Ontario – Police Blotter JULY 8, 2016

WARRANTS

 

Cornwall, ON – Jeremy Doucet-Robles, age 22, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 7, 2016.  It is alleged that on July 5, 2016, he failed to attend court for his first appearance in relation to the charges of Fail to Stop at the Scene of an Accident and Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle.  On July 7, 2016, he turned himself in at the police station.  He was taken into custody for Failing to Attend Court.  He was released with a court date of August 11, 2016.

 

Cornwall, ON – Jason Larose, age 38, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 7, 2016.  He is currently bound by a Probation Order with the relevant conditions to notify Probation Services of any address change, and to pay restitution to a particular individual by November 15, 2015.  On June 29, 2016, a Probation Warrant was issued and endorsed as he failed to comply with the aforementioned conditions.  He was located by police at 340 Pitt Street and taken into custody for 2 counts of Breach of Probation.  He was released to appear in court on August 11, 2016.

 

 

DOMESTIC BREACHES AND POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY

 

Cornwall, ON – A 52 year old Cornwall man was arrested on July 7, 2016.  He is currently bound by 2 Probation Orders with the relevant conditions to not be in contact with or within 30 metres of his estranged common-law girlfriend, to not be on a particular street in the city of Cornwall without court permission, and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.  It is alleged that on this date he was located at her residence during the course of an ongoing police investigation.  As a result of the investigation, he was taken into custody and charged with 4 counts of Breach of Probation and 4 counts of Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000.  He was held for a Bail Hearing.
