THREATS
Cornwall, ON – Wayne Voakes, 52 of Cornwall was arrested on August 17th, 2016 and charged with threats. It is alleged during an argument on August 17th, 2016 the man threatened to harm a 36-year-old woman known to him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 22nd, 2016.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 23-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on August 16th, 2016 and charged with breach of probation for being within 30 meters of his ex-common-law wife and for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on August 15th, 2016 the man breached his conditions by being within 30 meters of his ex-common-law wife at a public parking lot and police were contacted to investigate. On August 16th, 2016 the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 22nd, 2016.
ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON
Cornwall, ON- Troy Point, 42 of St.Regis was arrested on August 16th, 2016 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on August 3rd, 2016 the man threw a water bottle at a Toll Booth worker and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation a warrant was obtained for his arrest. On August 16th, 2016 police attended the Port of Entry as the man was being detained on the strength of Cornwall’s warrant. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
