Four Charged by OPP With Home Invasion Near Smiths Falls OCT 14, 2016

BREAK AND ENTER TO HOME AND SERIOUS ASSAULT.
(Township of Drummond North Elmsley, ON) – Officers from the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged four adults during the investigation of a serious assault in the Township of Drummond North Elmsley.

At 06:53 pm on Thursday 6th October 2016, OPP were called to home on Drummond Concession 10 A where a 29 year old man and 32 year old woman were injured. The woman’s injuries were serious.  Both victims were conveyed to Hospital.

The investigation is active and ongoing.

Linda WISEMAN (52 years) of Smiths Falls is charged:

One (1) Count.                          Aggravated Assault.

One (1) Count                           Possession of a Weapon.

One (1) Count                           Break and Enter a Dwelling.

One (1) Count                           Assault Cause Bodily Harm.

One (1) Count                           Forcible Confinement.

One (1) Count                           Mischief Under $5,000.

All offences are contrary to The Criminal Code of Canada.

WISEMAN is in custody pending a Bail Hearing in the Provincial Court in Perth.

Warrants for arrest have been issued for three other adults.

Lance CURRY  (34 years), Stephanie VIGRASS (32 years) and Johnathan YOUNG (34 years) are all charged with the same offences as WISEMAN.

YOUNG is further charged:

One(1) Count                             Assault.
