Nicolas CHARETTE Charged With Driving Suspended No Seat Belt & Open Container SDG OPP Oct 24, 2016

IMPAIRED DRIVERS

(South Glengarry) – On October 23, 2016 at approximately 5:32pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a male unresponsive in a parked vehicle on Military Road, South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that the male was under the influence of alcohol.

Paul DAVIDSON (57) of South Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;

– Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle While Impaired
– Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle With More Than 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood

He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on November 8, 2016.
(South Dundas) – Following an ongoing investigation into a motor vehicle collision, SD&G OPP have charged an adult male.

On August 27, 2016 at approximately 11:48pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a traffic complaint on Highway 401, South Dundas Township. Officers were re-directed to the noted vehicle being involved in a single vehicle collision at an off-ramp of a Service Station nearby. Investigation indicated that the male driver was under the influence of alcohol.

Nicolas CHARETTE (41) of Cornwall, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

– Driving a Motor Vehicle While Impaired
– Driving a Motor Vehicle With More Than 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood
– Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
– Driving While Under Suspension (Highway Traffic Act)
– Driver – Fail to Wear Seatbelt (Highway Traffic Act)
– Drive Motor Vehicle with Open Container of Liquor (Liquor Licence Act)

He was released and scheduled to appear (criminal charges) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on November 22, 2016.
