Filmmaker Albert Nerenberg Wants to Talk to Cornwallites for Upcoming CBC Doc NOV 10, 2016

CORNWALL ONTARIO – CBC TV Documentary is looking for Ryan Gosling Stories in Cornwall.

Do you remember Ryan Gosling’s early years in Cornwall?

If so an upcoming CBC Documentary Channel film could be interested in talking to you. The 35 year old movie star often references his formative years in Cornwall at times describing being bullied, but also having a lot of fun.

The upcoming TV documentary, You Are What You Act, directed by filmmaker Albert Nerenberg, (Laughology, Let’s All Hate Toronto) will be in town this winter looking into Gosling’s past.

“The film deals with how acting changes you,” said Nerenberg. “By his own definition, Gosling was a scrawny, wimpy kid then he goes on to become Young Hercules and a Hollywood heart throb. Something changed. We’re trying to figure that out.”

Researchers for the film are interested in talking to people who knows Gosling, went to school with him, or taught him. Even people who bullied him.
