Cocaine Hydromorphone Marijuana & Illegal Tobacco Bust in Cornwall DEC 16, 2016

POSSESSION, POSSESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING, PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME

Cornwall, ON – Guy Fortier, 50 and Marc Lefebvre, 46 both of Cornwall were arrested on December 14th, 2016 and charged with the following:

  • Possession of cocaine
  • Possession for the purpose
  • Possession of contraband tobacco
  • Proceeds of crime x2
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking marijuana
  • Possession of Hydromorphone X3
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking Hydromorphone X3

Lefebvre was also charged with breaching his probation order for failing to notify a change of address and failing to keep the peace.

On December 14th, 2016 members of the Cornwall Street Crime Unit executed a drug warrant at a Marlborough Street address. During the search of the residence a quantity of cocaine, marijuana, hydromorphone, contraband tobacco, Canadian currency, US currency and a stolen E bike was located. Both men were taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 24th, 2017.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Shelby Jaeck, 21 of Finch was arrested on December 14th, 2016 and charged with breach of undertaking for communicating with someone she has conditions not to communicate with and for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on December 14th, 2016 the woman breached her conditions and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

ASSAULT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Daniel Ouellette, 62 of Cornwall was arrested on December 15th, 2016 and charged with assault and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an argument on December 15th, 2016 the man punched a woman known to him in the arm. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

DRIVE DISQUALIFIED, REFUSAL, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Joseph Villeneuve, 60 of Spencerville was arrested on December 15th, 2016 and charged with drive disqualified, refusal and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the man was operating a motor vehicle on December 15th, 2016 while under the influence of alcohol and refused to provide a sample of his breath during a traffic stop. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
