THEFT UNDER
Cornwall, ON – John Burke, 32 of Cornwall was arrested on December 16th, 2016 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged in the early morning hours of November 5th, 2016 the man entered his place of work and removed a quantity of money from a cash box without permission. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On December 16th, 2016 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 19th, 2017.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Mickey Delormier, 27 of Cornwall was arrested on December 16th, 2016 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged while investigating an unrelated matter on December 13th, 2016 the woman was found to be in breach of her recognizance for not living with her surety and for being outside her residence without her surety. As a result of the investigation a warrant was obtained for her arrest. On December 16th, 2016 the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on January 19th, 2016.
THREATS, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Sherry Hummel, 33 of Cornwall was arrested on December 16th, 2016 and charged with threats and breach of two probation orders for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the woman made threats to kill three persons known to her and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Ruben Oakes, 38 of St.Regis was arrested on December 17th, 2016 and charged with breach of recognizance for operating a motor vehicle and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the man was operating a motor vehicle when he was stopped at the Port of Entry on December 17th, 2016. Police were contacted and took the man into custody. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
THEFT UNDER $5000
Cornwall, ON – Mark Tyo, 31 of Cornwall was arrested on December 17th, 2016 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on December 17th, 2016 the man attended a Ninth Street store and removed a quantity of meat making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. He was stopped by the Loss Prevention Officer and police were contacted. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
IMPAIRED, OVER 80, POSSESSION
Cornwall, ON – Zane Primeau, 21 of Cornwall was arrested on December 19th, 2016 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, over 80 and possession of marijuana. It is alleged in the early morning hours of December 19th, 2016 the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol when he struck a light pole in the area of Fifth Street and Cumberland Street. Police attended the scene, took the man into custody and located a quantity of marijuana. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 4th, 2017.
