ASSAULT, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 15-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on March 9th, 2017 and charged with assault. He was also charged with breach of undertaking for failing to abide by house rules and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an argument on March 9th, 2017 the youth punched his father and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
SEXUAL ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 22-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 9th, 2017 and charged with sexual assault. It is alleged on February 28th, 2017 the man sexually assaulted his ex-girlfriend and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 13th, 2017. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
ASSAULT, MISCHIEF, INTIMIDATION, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 40-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 9th, 2017 and charged with assault, mischief, intimidation and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an argument on March 9th, 2017 the man assaulted his common-law wife, damaged a mop all the while exchanging words with her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
