#CCPS Cornwall Ontario Police Blotter for MARCH 17, 2017

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Angus Smoke, 58 of Hammond was arrested on March 16th, 2017 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on March 13th, 2017 and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On March 16th, 2017 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 30-year-old Saint Leonard, QC man was arrested on March 16th, 2017 and charged with breach of undertaking for communicating with his ex-wife. It is alleged on March 16th, 2017 police were contacted to attend dispute and found the man in breach of his conditions. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Ryan Whitford, 23 of Cornwall was arrested on March 16th, 2017 and charged with breach of recognizance for not residing at a specific address and for not remaining in the residence. He was also charged with failing to appear for prints as directed. It is alleged the man failed to attend for prints on March 13th, 2017 and left his residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 16th, 2017 the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

BREACH, MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – Daniel Bourdeau, 41 of Cornwall was arrested on March 17th, 2017 and charged with mischief and breach of recognizance for being out past curfew. It is alleged in the early morning hours of March 17th, 2017 the man was found to be in breach of his curfew and had caused damage at a local business. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
