BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 51-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on May 11th, 2017 and charged with breach of recognizance for being in the company of his common-law wife. It is alleged the man was found to be in breach of his conditions on May 10th, 2017 and an investigation ensued. On May 11th, 2017 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as the conditions stem from a domestic incident and would identify the victim in the matter.

Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on May 11th, 2017 and charged with breach of undertaking for failing to attend school and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the youth missed school on May 10th, 2017 despite his conditions and police were contacted to investigate. On May 11th, 2017 the youth attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
