MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON – A 60-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on June 15th, 2017 and charged with mischief. It is alleged during an argument on June 15th, 2017 the woman damaged her boyfriend’s cell phone and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 20th, 2017. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
THREATS, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on June 15th, 2017 and charged with threats. It is alleged during an argument on June 15th, 2017 the man threatened his ex-girlfriend and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
DRUG WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – James Labelle, 29 and Keisha Maneilly, 21 both of Cornwall were arrested and charged as follows:
- Possession of cocaine
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking Marijuana
Labelle was also charged with breach of probation for being in possession of drugs and failing to keep the peace.
It is alleged on June 6th, 2017 members of the Cornwall Street Crime Unit executed a warrant at an Alice Street residence and located a quantity of cocaine, marijuana and methamphetamine pills. Both were taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date.
