(PRESCOTT,ON), On Thursday the 31st of August 2017, at approximately 10am, the Ontario Provincial Police Community Street Crime Unit, the Emergency Response Team, the Grenville County OPP and the K-9 Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence on County Road 2, in the Village of Cardinal.
The OPP recovered over $10,000 worth of stolen property and 3 people were arrested and charged under the Criminal Code.
Travis Towns-Chapman, age 26, from Edwardsburgh/Cardinal Township is charged with:
– Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
– Possession of a schedule I substance – methamphetamine
He was held for Bail and will appear before the Superior Court of Justice on September the 1st, 2017.
Christopher Cinnamon, age 45, of South Dundas Township is charged with:
– Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
– Possession of a schedule I substance – methamphetamine
– Fail to comply with recognizance
Mark Chapman, age 50, of Edwardsburgh/Cardinal Township, is charged with:
– Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
– Possession of a schedule I substance – methamphetamine
The last two mentioned accused, were released on a Promise to Appear at the Brockville Ontario Court of Justice, on October the 20th, 2017.
