Golf Carts Stolen & Marijuana & Cocaine Busts SD&G #OPP Round Up 092617

STOLEN GOLF CARTS

(South Dundas) – On September 23, 2017 at approximately 8:57am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of several golf carts from a business on County Road 2, South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that sometime overnight (September 22-23, 2017) 9 Golf carts were removed from the property.

An investigation continues.

TRAFFIC STOP RESULTS IN CHARGES

(North Dundas) – On September 23, 2017 at approximately 4:02pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry(SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police officer had the occasion to stop a vehicle during a RIDE program on Main Street, Morewood, Ontario. This resulted in the seizure of a quantity of cocaine and marihuana. Investigation also indicated that the male was in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident.

Patrick RABIDEAU-BLACKADDER (31) of South Stormont, Ontario was arrested and is charged with:

– Possession of a Controlled Substance ( 2 counts)

– Fail to Comply Probation Order (2 counts)

He was released and scheduled to appear in Morrisburg court on November 17, 2017.

DOMESTIC INVESTIGATIONS

(North Dundas) – On September 24, 2017 at approximately 7:19pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on Main Street, North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation had taken place between a female and her ex-spouse. The Investigation revealed that the female had caused damage to the male’s property.

A 28-year-old female from North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

– Mischief

She was released and scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on October 17, 2017

Her name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim

WARRANT EXECUTED – DRUGS SEIZED

(South Dundas) On September 25, 2017, members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Community Street Crime Unit and SD&G OPP executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Search Warrant on a residence on Dundas Street, South Dundas Township. This resulted in the seizure of Marihuana. Investigation also indicated that the male was in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident.

Jordan SYPES (43) of South Dundas, Ontario was arrested and charged with;

– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking

– Fail to Comply Recognizance (4 counts)

 

Emily HITSMAN (18) of South Dundas, Ontario was arrested and charged with;

– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking

She was released and scheduled to appear in Morrisburg court on November 14, 2017.

He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
