THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE, MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON – A 29-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on November 2nd, 2017 and charged with theft of a motor vehicle and mischief. It is alleged sometime between November 1st, 2017 and November 2nd, 2017 the woman took her ex-boyfriend’s car then damage documents belonging to him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 28th, 2017. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Hamidah Ahmad, 29 of Cornwall was arrested on November 2nd, 2017 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman breached her probation and a warrant was issued for her arrest. The woman was located on November 2nd, 2017, taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on November 30th, 2017.
RESIST ARREST, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
Cornwall, ON – Alexis McDougall, 35 of Cornwall was arrested on November 2nd, 2017 and charged with resist arrest, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on November 2nd, 2017 the woman was stopped at the Port of Entry and after a brief struggle the woman was found to be in possession of a cocaine and marijuana. Police were contacted and the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
DRUG WARRANTS
Cornwall, ON- Members of the Cornwall Street Crime Unit along with the Cornwall Emergency Response Team (CERT) executed two drug warrants on November 2nd, 2017 at two separate locations within the city of Cornwall. “It was the hard work from our members along with the assistance of the OPP TRU, OPP SCU, RCMP, CBSA K9 that made the execution of these warrants a success” stated Sgt. Bissonnette. As result of the warrants several items were located, including the following:
