A 40-year-old local man is facing attempt murder charges after two violent attacks in the same day.

On December 14, 2017 at approximately 11:45 a.m. the victim was in a City Access bus out front on an address on Elmwood Street. The accused approached the bus and tapped on the door. The victim opened the door and the accused advised he wanted to go to another city. The victim informed the accused the bus does not go to other cities, and was also an accessibility bus.  The accused then withdrew a large knife and plunged it at the victim.
