Cornwall Ontario Police Blotter for Monday January 15, 2017 #CCPS

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Richard Zeran, 48 of Cornwall was arrested on January 12th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged while driving a dirt bike on September 10th, 2017 the man who is disqualified from driving failed to stop for police and drove in a dangerous manner in the area of Prince Arthur Street. A warrant was then obtained for his arrest. On January 12th, 2018 the man was spotted on York Street by a member of the Cornwall Community Police service. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.



ASSAULT CAUSE BODILY HARM

Cornwall, ON – Joseph Johnson, 51of Cornwall was arrested on January 12th, 2018 and charged with assault cause bodily harm. It is alleged during an argument on January 12th, 2018 the man assaulted a 58-year-old Man known to him causing an injury that required medical attention. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Marc Racine, 42 of St. Andrews was arrested on January 13th, 2018 and charged with breach of undertaking for being outside his residence between the hours of 10pm and 6am and for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged in the early morning hours of January 13th, 2018 the man was spotted in breach of his conditions. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

There were 110 calls for service in the City of Cornwall in over the weekend (8am Friday to 8am Monday morning).
