OBSTRUCT POLICE, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on March 1st, 2018 and charged with obstruct police and possession of speed. It is alleged during a traffic stop on March 1st, 2018 the youth gave police a false name and was found to be in possession of a quantity of speed. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. Her name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

SEXUAL ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – Adam Leroux, 34 of Cornwall was arrested on March 1st, 2018 and charged with sexual assault. It is alleged on February 25th, 2018 the man sexually assaulted a woman known to him and police were contacted to investigate. On March 1st, 2018 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 12th, 2018.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Devon Latour, 21 of Cornwall was arrested on March 1st, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on July 4th, 2017 for an impaired charge and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On March 1st, 2018 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court at a later date.
