2 Ottawa Men in a Hyundai Accent Stopped for Speeding on 401 Yield Cocaine & Marijuana Bust for #OPP 040918

(PRESCOTT, ON) On Friday, April 6, 2018, at approximately 9:30pm officers from the Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a motor vehicle for speeding. The Hyundai Accent was travelling west bound on highway 401, near the Maitland exit. Further investigation revealed that the 2 male occupants were in possession of a controlled substance.

As a result Moustafa KAZAN, age 21 of Ottawa, was arrested and charged with the following offences:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
  • Possession of a schedule II substance – marihuana-under 30 grams
  • Fail to comply with an Undertaking

Additionally, Brahim ZEITOUN, age 19, also from Ottawa was charged with:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
  • Possession of a schedule II substance – marihuana-under 30 grams
  • Possession of an identity document

Both accused are scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville on May 11, 2018.
