MISCHIEF UNDER $5000, TRESPASSING AT NIGHT, RESIST ARREST, ASSAULT POLICE, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 22-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 21st, 2018 and charged with mischief under $5000, trespassing at night, resist arrest, and assault police. He was also charged with breach of recognizance for consuming alcohol, as well as contacting and being within 150 metres of his ex-girlfriend. It is alleged on April 21st, 2018 the man attended the residence of his ex-girlfriend and damaged her friend’s vehicle. Police were contacted and located the man. He was taken into custody, at which time a brief struggle took place. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Bobbie Sylvester, 36, of Cornwall was arrested on April 22nd, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on November 23rd, 2017 for breach charges and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On April 22nd, 2018 the woman was located by police. She was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
Cornwall, ON – Jason Watts, 36, of Cornwall was arrested on April 22nd, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on October 10th, 2017 for criminal harassment and breaches and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On April 22nd, 2018 the man was located by police. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
CARE AND CONTROL
Cornwall, ON – Jennifer Riley, 42, of Ingleside was arrested on April 22nd, 2018 and charged with care and control. It is alleged on April 22nd, 2018 the woman was found to be in care and control of a motor vehicle in a Ninth Street parking lot while under the influence of alcohol. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 3rd, 2018.
