CRIMINAL HARASSMENT

Cornwall, ON – A 56-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on May 22nd, 2018 and charged with criminal harassment. It is alleged between February and May, 2018 the man communicated with his ex-girlfriend on several occasions despite having been told not to and police were contacted to investigate. On May 22nd, 2018 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

BREACH, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Cornwall, ON – Darin Cooper, 23, of Cornwall was arrested on May 22nd, 2018 and charged with breach of recognizance for attending a certain address, possession of crack cocaine, and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the man attended a certain address on May 15th, 2018 despite having conditions not to. On May 22nd, 2018 the man was located by police and was taken into custody, at which time he was found to be in possession of a quantity of crack cocaine. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
