Cornwall Police Charge E Bike Rider for Impaired #CCPS 071318

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Marc Martin, 26, of Iroquois was arrested on July 12th, 2018 and charged with breach of recognizance for not abiding by a curfew and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on July 9th, 2018 the man was seen in breach of his conditions and an investigation ensued. On July 12th, 2018 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE

Cornwall, ON – Patrick Rottier, 27, of Cornwall was arrested on July 12th, 2018 and charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. It is alleged on July 8th, 2018, while police were investigating an unrelated matter, the man brandished a metal bar and an investigation ensued. On July 12th, 2018, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 14th, 2018.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Kevin Lalonde, 45, of Cornwall was arrested on July 12th, 2018 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged July 12th, 2018 the man was found to be operating an e-bike while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Thirteenth Street and Pitt Street. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 26th, 2018.
