#CCPS Cornwall Community Police Blotter for August 1, 2018

THEFT UNDER, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Emilie Martin, 23, of Cornwall was arrested on July 31st, 2018 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on July 26th, 2018 the woman attended a Second Street East store and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as she left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 31st, 2018 the woman was located by police. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Jonathon Poulin, 20, of Long Sault was arrested on August 1st, 2018 and charged with over 80. It is alleged the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Oran Avenue and Vincent Massey Drive. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 16th, 2018.
