SD&G #OPP Charges for Landfill Culprit & Chip Stand Break IN in South Stormont 100418

CHARGES LAID FOR BREAK IN AT LANDFILL

 

(NORTH DUNDAS,ON) – On September 19, 2018 at approximately 2:11pm, Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a break in at a business (North Dundas landfill) on Boyne Road, Winchester, Ontario. Investigation indicated that sometime overnight culprit(s) entered the business but did not remove any items from the location.

On October 2, 2018 SD&G OPP officers arrested a male in in connection with the Break in.

 

Shayne Corey Reid HILL (28) from North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

–             Break and Enter

–             Fail to comply with conditions of an undertaking

 

He was held in custody (bail) and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.

 

BREAK IN AT CHIP STAND

 

(SOUTH STORMONT,ON) – On October 1, 2018 at approximately 12:13pm, Stormont Dundas &Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a break in at a business on Highway 138, South Stormont, Ontario. Investigation indicated that sometime overnight culprit(s) entered the business (Mama Bear’s Chip Stand) and removed Canadian currency from the location.

 

CHARGES LAID

(NORTH DUNDAS,ON) – As a result of a sexual assault investigation conducted by members of the Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police, a 62yr old male resident of North Dundas was arrested on October 3, 2018. Investigation indicated the male had sexually assaulted an adult female known to him.

 

The 62-year old male resident of North Dundas faces charges of:

– Sexual Assault ( 6 counts)

He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg court on November 13, 2018.

The name of the accused is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.

 

 

STOLEN KUBOTA AND GOLF CART

(NORTH DUNDAS,ON) – On October 3, 2018 at approximately 11:22am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of a Kubota RTV and a Golf cart from a Business on Sandy Row Road, North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that sometime overnight October 1-3, 2018 an orange Kubota RTV and a blue Club Cadet Golf cart was removed from the property.

An investigation continues.

 

FRAUD CHARGES LAID

(SOUTH GLENGARRY,ON) – On February 20, 2017 at approximately 5:45pm, SD&G OPP Crime unit officers responded to a report of a theft of funds from a victim in South Glengarry Township.

Investigation indicated that a female had made unauthorized removal of funds from the victim.

The accused female was arrested on September 7, 2018

 

Angela ZIMMERMAN (56) of South Glengarry is charged with;

 

– Fraud Over $5000

 

She was released and scheduled to appear in Alexandria court on October 10, 2018.
