Cornwall Woman Charged w Attempted Knife Murder – 102918

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 28-year-old Akwesasne woman was arrested on October 26th, 2018 and charged with breach of undertaking for contacting her ex-boyfriend. It is alleged the woman breached her conditions when she was found with her ex-boyfriend at the Port of Entry on October 26th, 2018. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 30th, 2018. Her name was not released as the conditions stem from a domestic incident and would identify the victim in the matter.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 26th, 2018 and charged with domestic assault and breach of undertaking for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an argument on October 25th, 2018 the man assaulted his wife and police were contacted to investigate. On October 26th, 2018, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Daniel Legue, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on October 26th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. He was also charged with breach of undertaking for failing to abide by a curfew and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on June 28th, 2018 the man failed to attend court for using a stolen credit card and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On October 26th, 2018, the man was located by police, at which time he was found in breach of his conditions. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.




THEFT UNDER, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Symphony Pierce, 25, of Cornwall was arrested on October 27th, 2018 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the woman attended a Brookdale Avenue store and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as she left the store. She was stopped by the Loss Prevention Officer and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 29th, 2018.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Jason Keeler, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on October 27th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on October 18th, 2018 for drug offences and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On October 27th, 2018, the man was located by police. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on November 29th, 2018.

ATTEMPT MURDER, WEAPONS DANGEROUS, THREATS

Cornwall, ON – Linda Ceasor, 47, of Cornwall was arrested on October 28th, 2018 and charged with attempt murder, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and threats. It is alleged on October 28th, 2018, the woman assaulted a man unknown to her with a knife, all the while threatening to kill him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Andy Courville, 31, of Cornwall was arrested on October 28th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his probation and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On October 28th, 2018, the man was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

DOMESTIC MISCHIEF, ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old Williamstown man was arrested on October 28th, 2018 and charged with mischief under $5000 x 2 and assault x 3. It is alleged on October 7th and 28th, 2018, the man assaulted his girlfriend. It is further alleged the man damaged a door and a bracelet belonging to her and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 27th, 2018. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
