Cornwall, ON – Michael Witherden, 30, of Cornwall was arrested on November 1st, 2018 and charged with breach of recognizance for failing to reside at a certain address. It is alleged the man was not residing at a certain address, despite his conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. On November 1st, 2018 the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
WARRANT, THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Tyanna Tessier, 23, of Cornwall was arrested on November 1st, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. She was also charged with theft under $5000 x 2 and breach of recognizance for possessing alcohol. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on August 16th, 2018 and a warrant was issued for her arrest. It is further alleged the woman attended a Second Street business on August 31st and October 27th, 2018 and removed bottles of liquor, making no attempt to pay for the items as she left the store. On November 1st, 2018, police located the woman during a traffic stop. She was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. It should also be noted that Tyanna was reported as missing by family members since August 10th, 2018.
