Cornwall Police Only Report 3 of 48 Calls for Service 110718 #CCPS

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Michael Witherden, 30, of Cornwall was arrested on November 6th, 2018 and charged with breach of recognizance for failing to reside at a certain address. It is alleged the man was not residing at a certain address, despite his conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. On November 6th, 2018 the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.




FAIL TO ATTEND FOR PRINTS, THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – James Quinn, 34 of Cornwall was arrested on November 6th, 2018 and charged with failing to attend for prints, theft under $5000 x 2 and breach of probation and undertaking for failing to keep the peace. On October 11th and October 23rd, the man allegedly attended a Second Street East store and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. It is further alleged the man failed to attend for prints on October 31st, 2018 and an investigation ensued. On November 6th, 2018 the man was located by police, was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old Williamstown man was arrested on November 6th, 2018 and charged with breach of recognizance for contacting and being within 50 metres of his girlfriend, as well as failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on November 6th, 2018, the man attended the residence of his girlfriend, despite his conditions, and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as the conditions stem from a domestic incident and would identify the victim in the matter.
