ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – Lorraine Taylor, 66, of Cornwall was arrested on November 8th, 2018 and charged with assault. It is alleged on October 30th, 2018, the woman assaulted a child who was known to her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On November 8th, 2018, the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 18th, 2018.

Cornwall, ON – A 23-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on November 9th, 2018 and charged with the following:
• Assault x 3
• Threats x 2
• Mischief under $5000 x2
It is alleged between October 28th, 2018 and November 4th, 2018, the man assaulted his girlfriend on 3 occasions, made threats to harm her twice, and damaged a window and wall within the residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On November 9th, 2018, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
